A Specialist Training Company
Our ‘bigger picture’ is that described by Marianne Williamson in her book ‘Return to Love’ and famously quoted by Nelson Mandela at his inauguration. We strongly believe that each person is ‘born to shine’ and that life circumstances and lack of skills and opportunities often prevent that happening, to the detriment of all.
Because we are trainers, we use training as a means of enabling each person, especially women, to develop themselves further, benefitting the person, their employer, family and community.
We are a women’s development training consultancy, wanting to make a difference, so we train and license other trainers to use our materials. In this way, between us all, we make a big impact: over 230,000 people have used our programmes and over 1,300 trainers have been trained in over 30 countries around the world. And, although we’re best known for our women’s development work, we also offer a men’s development programme and a range of mixed-gender programmes as well.
We like to find different ways of doing things, so we’ve got a reputation for creativity, innovation and quality, balanced with down-to-earth pragmatism and all good value. It’s no use having big ideas if you can’t figure out how to deliver them! Our client list and testimonials speak for themselves.
A Training Business designed to make a difference
Our business is influenced by our strongly-held beliefs, which are as follows:
Karen Daly-Gherabi ACIM – Managing Director
Karen started her career as an officer in the British Army, promoting excellence, development, achievement and diversity, and then spent 12 years working for the British Council, creating international opportunities, building trust and engagement through education, training and cultural relations.
Through the British Council, Karen introduced the award-winning Springboard Women’s Development Programme into the Middle East. Indeed, Karen has first-hand experience of the positive impact the Springboard programme has had on more than 17,000 women, along with the network of trainers, across the Middle East and North Africa.
On taking up her post Karen said “The Springboard Consultancy is a fantastic company which promotes diversity in personal development – especially for women but including both genders – with a range of products that covers the complete work lifecycle. It’s wonderful to be part of such transformational development, which enables people to take control of their own futures.”
