unemployed women in Paris say: 'I
was closed in, now I want to work and give myself a chance.'
'It has woken us up, given us more
confidence in the future. It's given us courage.'
'I want to be more independent, to set my

Here's how you can get the biggest and
best results from our expertise at a minimum cost.
Starting with a pilot workshop in Riga,
organised by The British Council, this project progressed to 4 Latvian women being trained
from scratch to develop their own training materials and, after experience of delivering
the material themselves, to train other women as trainers. A national network of trainers
is now in place in Latvia having grown hugely from the 4 original pioneers.
The group would like to build links with
other women's training organisations around the world as they have recently set up a
women's training organisation as an NGO (Non Governmental Organisation). Contact us to be put in touch with the project leader Zhanna
Yeliseyeva.
The 4 original trainers are now operating
commercially and have been employed by The British Council to work with teachers of
English as a foreign language.
