Starting with a pilot workshop in Riga, organised by The British Council, this project progressed to 4 Latvian women being trained from scratch to develop their own training materials and, after experience of delivering the material themselves, to train other women as trainers. A national network of trainers is now in place in Latvia having grown hugely from the 4 original pioneers.
