Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the questions that we are most often asked. However, we’re happy to answer any of your questions – contact us direct.

Why are Springboard and Navigator single-gender courses?

Because our long-term research showed that men and women have significant differences in the way they tackle self-development issues. Our 20 years of experience prove that learning is greatly enhanced by self-development being done in single-gender groups. So it is simply a pragmatic decision, giving you the highest quality results and the best value for money.

This single-gender aspect is especially useful to those organisations turning their gender diversity or equality policies into practice.

How can I become licensed to deliver your courses?

Contact us for an application form for the trainer’s licensing course of your choice, fill it in and send it back. As long as you fulfil the criteria, you’ll get a place. We look forward to working with you!

What’s the difference between ‘in-house’ and ‘freelance’ trainers?

We differentiate between trainers who are employed (running courses inside their employing organisation) and trainers who are self employed/freelance (adding our courses to their existing portfolio) Both categories of trainer become licensed by successfully completing our well-established trainers’ licensing courses. All trainers hold a three year renewable licence.

The differences are mostly around the commercial, legal and financial aspects of running a course. The freelance trainers’ licence is slightly different to the in-house licence. Obviously, in-house trainers are not selling courses on the open market. If you are employed part-time and wish to run courses both in-house and freelance, you’ll require an adaptation to the licence.

If you are considering becoming licensed, the precise terms of your licence is an area you may wish to explore further. Contact us for more details.

How can I find a trainer who is local to me?

Click on Find a Trainer - world map - list of countries. This will give you access to the list of freelance trainers in that country. For the UK, the list is further narrowed down into regions. Details of in-house trainers are kept confidential.

How can I get a copy of the workbook?

All our written materials are designed to augment courses and workshops and are not designed to stand alone. If you need Springboard or Navigator workbooks for a course, it is usual to order them through the licensed trainer who is delivering the programme for you.

If you want just one copy of a workbook for yourself, contact us direct and we’ll find the best way to get one to you. This will depend on which country you are in and which language you’re looking for..

The CD’s, folders and manuals for all our other courses are published by us and are also available either through the licensed trainer delivering the course for you or from us direct. Again, if you just want sight of these before making up your mind about the course or whether to become licensed, contact us direct.
