It's for employers
who want to develop their staff to their fullest potential and to give their staff
opportunities to develop.

Men assess themselves, set goals
and then develop the practical skills and self confidence needed to achieve those goals.
Men in all walks of life and in different
patterns of employment have opened up all sorts of opportunities for themselves following
the programme.
You and your employer can realistically
expect any of these outcomes:

|
realistic
self-assessment |

|
set and achieve clear goals |

|
develop a positive
attitude |

|
communicate more
assertively and effectively |

|
have more self confidence
and motivation |

|
present a positive
image |

|
improve your
work/life balance |

|
build better
relationships. |
|
 |

|
Employers have the
benefits of staff who are more highly motivated, better focussed and are better
communicators following the programme. Private and public sector organisations,
universities, government departments and voluntary groups have all benefited.

Following participation in a Navigator
programme, Dr. Chris Warner from Cambridge University asked for teaching
responsibility and within a year has moved from doing 100% research to 50% research and
50% teaching. He's also become a Director of Studies for Mathematics at Robinson College,
Cambridge and a Fellow. He says that the key was deciding what his goal was and 'going for
it'.
At home he has moved house and become a
manager of his local football club. Chris's wife says that, after years of drifting
through life, he now comes across as someone who knows where he is heading.
